WE HELD AN OPEN PLANNING SESSION FOR THE

Rivers & Moorland Festival

at the Watermark,  Ivybridge

on Monday 12th January

The planning session was a chance to shape the festival, and to hear what opportunities there are for artists, teachers, community groups, local businesses, charities, environmental organisations and people living on Dartmoor.

This festival will be of particular interest to:

schools, parents & children

Book early to ensure free carnival workshops in schools for participants taking part in the Opening Parade on Saturday 6th June.

ARTISTS & Makers

There will be a number of commissions connected to the environment, and opportunity to teach, perform, show & sell your work.

Organisers

There will be a Community Producer Programme to train Dartmoor residents to put on events, whilst helping to run & programme the festival.
